How to Manage User Accounts

The Lonti Console provides a User Directory to manage user accounts and their access to your Organisation’s products and subscriptions.

  2. Click the Cog icon in the top navigation bar.

  3. Select Users & Groups from the menu to open the User Directory.

Adding a New User

  1. In the User Directory, click on the Users menu.

  2. Click the Add User button.

  3. Enter the following details for the new user:

    • Full Name

    • Email Address

Granting Access to Subscriptions

  1. Navigate to the Subscriptions tab within the User Directory.

  2. Select the subscriptions to which you want to grant the user access.

    • Note: Some subscriptions may have user account limits. Ensure the subscription can accommodate the additional user.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

  • Unified Access: Users can log in to any subscription to which they are granted access using a single username and password.

  • Simplified Management: With SSO, users only need to remember one set of credentials to access multiple subscriptions, improving convenience and security.

  • Automatic Updates: Any changes to a user's access or role in the User Directory are automatically applied across all linked subscriptions.

Notes

  • To streamline access management, consider using user groups. Assigning users to a group allows you to grant access to subscriptions collectively, simplifying management. For more information, refer to the How to Manage User Groups Knowledge Base article.

  • By managing users through the Lonti Console and leveraging Single Sign-On (SSO), you can simplify user authentication while maintaining control over access to your Organisation's subscriptions and products.
